Turtles and not candy turtles . . .

We went down to Cerritos to visit Grandma Janice & Papa David and they have pet turtles. Seriously. who really has turtles for pets? They must be at least 40 years old and going strong. Jayce and Dane enjoyed feeding them, Brandt wanted nothing to do with them.

I just heard a statistic that 60% of American's own a pet. I guess we fall into that catergory if our .19 cent goldfish count! I am not a pet person at least at this point of my life. But I can't imagine a turtle would be too difficult of a pet to have. At least I know I can out run it if I wanted to:) Great picture!
